I was born in Cordoba, and whoever comes from Cordoba if he doesn't have a sense of humor, he is lost…" It is this desire to smile as much as a bittersweet feeling that Antonio Seguí leaves today in our hearts. When I heard the news of his death, it was first of all the sadness that I felt, to know that I will no longer see this great man and formidable artist whose works have always accompanied my career as a gallery owner.

On Thursday, March 12, one of the rarest and most important collections of advertising automata known to exist will be auctioned by AuctionArt Rémy Le Fur at Drouot. This collection was assembled over a period of twenty years by two enthusiasts for an exhibition dedicated to advertising automata at the National Museum of Monaco in 2008.
