After dealing with the problem of renewing urban space Mario di Teana devoted the next two decades (1970-90) to the concept of tangible space and to designing composi- tions whose elements are freed from their physical proper- ties (weight, shapes, materials…).<\/p>\n

The artist\u2019s work is now dedicated to reorganizing the elements of structural composition, a quest fueled by Marino\u2019s experience and by his reflections for over thirty years.<\/p>\n

At this time he also created the Canons series, which even more subtly evokes the artist\u2019s research on the question of interstices and the balance of masses.
