The dialogue between the soft curve of its back and the angularity of its steps heightens the sensation of imbalance and upward movement. These steps, each different, asymmetrical and unpredictable, become the metaphor of every individual\u2019s unique journey through existence. The half-open door to elsewhere emerges as an invitation to lose oneself in the clouds.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"800\"><strong data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"798\">La Fratrie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"1003\">An artistic duo of sculptors composed of two brothers:<br data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"859\" \/>Karim Berchiche, born in 1978 in Le Quesnoy (Nord), &amp; Luc Berchiche, born in 1981 in Le Quesnoy (Nord)<br data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"964\" \/>Currently living and working in Paris<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1238\">Since childhood, they have created together, \u201cwith four hands,\u201d which inspired their artist name. Their works are sculptures of extraordinary precision and evocative power, questioning humankind\u2019s relationship with the environment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1240\" data-end=\"1521\">Suspended miniature islands or painstaking constructions, through their formal and technical refinement, their sculptures \u2014 made of diverse materials \u2014 grant their creators the dimension of artisans of a utopian world, in the true sense of the term (\u201cthe place that is nowhere\u201d).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1783\">These aerial rocks are worlds unto themselves, illusions uprooted from their original space.
