In 1977, he arrived in France to begin his art studies in Saint-\u00c9tienne. However, he likes to specify during his interviews: <em>\u201cI arrived in France with a completely new outlook, a different culture, and I was a little removed from art as it was presented in France, it was\u2026 a little post-Support\/Surface, a little conceptual art as we were able to Frenchify it; I think we all started doing extras because we were looking to create something new.<\/em>\u00a0In 1978, he entered the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts and graduated in 1984, specializing in engraving and painting techniques. He then participated in numerous group exhibitions for young artists, where he stood out.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>From 1981 he participated in various exhibitions and fairs, notably in Saint-Etienne, Lyon and Paris, before exhibiting in Europe in the 1990s, then returning to present his works on his native land on a more regular basis. during the 2000s.<\/p>\n<p>His work explores the language of myths and other stories of his culture, in juxtaposition with our modernity. Many personal exhibitions followed, in international fairs such as Fiac, Art Basel, Art Brussels, etc.; and in galleries such as Patrice Trigano, LOFT gallery (Paris), Pascal Polar (Brussels), Athens gallery and Lola Nicolas in Greece. The Museum of Modern Art of Saint-\u00c9tienne devotes a personal exhibition to him on his engraved work, as does the Picasso Museum of Antibes.
