Living in Arcueil (France).Born in C\u00f3rdoba (Argentina) in 1934, Antonio Segu\u00ed left his native country at the age of 17 for Africa and Europe, where he studied painting and sculpture.<\/p>\n

Back in Argentina, he presented\u00a0his first solo exhibition in 1957 before leaving in 1958 for a long trip across South and Central America, and especially Mexico where he studied engraving techniques.\u00a0In 1961, he went back to work in Argentina, before eventually moving to\u00a0for France in 1963 where his work was revealed at Paris Biennale.<\/p>\n
A multidisciplinary artist, Segu\u00ed adresses, in a caricatural style, the spectacle of modern urban life. In his pop art-like<\/em>\u00a0and yet realistic artworks, he portrays with humor and irony a gallery of characters in motion, as absorbed by the pace of cities.
