From September 26 to November 16, the Cour Jardin of the Plaza Athénée will host an exhibition of sculptures by the French artist Philippe Hiquily.
Around ten sculptures will be installed at the entrance where La Marathonienne will stand and in the Cour Jardin, where works such as La Reorneadora and Les Épicuriennes, with their soft and elegant curves, will also be displayed.
Over more than fifty years of creation, Philippe Hiquily has delighted in working with metal, animating and twisting it, gradually discovering the countless possibilities of transformation and composition offered by iron, steel, and brass. This exhibition was organized by Galerie Loft under the artistic direction of Marie-Béatrice Lavau. After working as an art dealer and later as a broker in Asia, Marie-Béatrice Lavau specialized in advising art collectors/ The exhibition will open to the public daily, from 10 am to 7 pm, in the Cour Jardin of the Plaza Athénée, a prestigious setting where the artist's sculptures will create a striking presence, particularly through their beautiful patinas and delicate balance.
